Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a joke?
- A: No
Do you have to be an Earper to be a member of Church of Earp?
- A: No. Although it is our expectation that most members will be Earpers, that is not a requirement. Membership is open to all people who can support our core beliefs.
Is it ok if I joke about this?
- A: Yes. There’s a lot in life to joke about. Laughing makes life better.
Is Emily Andras your deity?
- A: No. There is no official relationship of Church of Earp and the Wynonna Earp cast or creators. Nor do we intend to deify living beings, even if they are absolutely goddesses in the lower case sense of the word.
Do I have to leave my current church to become a member of Church of Earp?
- A: No. Membership is open to all who can support our core beliefs. That said, if your current faith insists you discriminate against others on the basis of orientation, skin tone or the like, then you should consider whether such discrimination is compatible with Faith in Kindness.
Are donations to Church of Earp tax deductible?
- A: No. Church of Earp does not take donations and is not a tax exempt organization. We expect that if you are trying to Act with Kindness by giving donations that you will choose a worthy organization by educating yourself. Church of Earp is not such an organization.
